She is currently a resident of New York City. Chando started her acting career in the fall of 2005 at Manhattan College. Chando was the first Maddie Coleman of the television soap opera As World Changes. The character was played by Chando from 2005 to 2007 before returning for several months after the show's end in 2009. Alexandra began her career acting in 2002, as she was cast as Jenna Harper on the TV Show House Blend. The following year, she was cast on the American soap opera on TV which was telecast in CBS, As the World Turns as Maddie Coleman. Chando made her TV debut with True life (an American documentary) in late 2009. Then, in 2009 she appeared on Sherri, a television show. Chando was in two episodes of Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) in the role of Annabelle. Her TV credits also include Castle and Hindsight.
